Insect-eating crane neck skin
1/9
2016 Tokyo Station Guest Entrance Hall
Donated and exhibited works.
An iron kettle with a distinctive overall shape and a spout of a finely stretched crane neck.
The shoulders are marked with insects that seem to have eaten, which is Katsuhisa Sato's original "insect-eating technique." From this work, I feel "Wabi" and "Lonely".
The sword is a "pure openwork sword" struck by a blacksmith.
